They were reliable fast, cool , and Ford was very surprised at how many were sold. Many people bought them, about 1.4 million were bought in the first 2 years of it being released. They were originally sold for about $2368 which would be about $18,892 in today's money. In the 1960’s there was peace and love, they even had peaceful protest. Some people that the modern day is safer, but I disagree. In the 1960’s there were less kidnapping than in present day. I strongly believe that the 1960’s are better than the era we live in today.

There was also a huge surge of musical history that had happened in the 60’s that changed the History of music forever. The 60’s is what I like to call the best decade in history. The 60’s is the decade of change because of the political, technological, and Musical advances that happened in America. The music industry went from poor to the number one hit in America.
