Richard Dick Winter was an officer of the United States Army and a decorated war veteran. Winter earned two Badges and thirteen medals. The badges he won were the Combat Infantryman Badge. Also he won the Parachutist Badge with 2 combat stars. One of the most important reasons he won the Parachutist Badge is because during the War of France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, Winters made a fast decision to parachute down to the ground as there were missiles and other explosive flying in different directions.Once people found out what he was going to do, it was too late. He had already jumped. He had made an impact on this world because he sacrificed his life to save our country and this world. That's why I think he made a huge impact on the world. Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon. He made an impact because he put his mind to the things he wanted to do and he did it. He worked hard and when he said he was the man to walk on the moon he meant it. I feel he made a huge impact because he helps us learn and think about when we put our mind to things we need to stick with what we said and even if it's hard we still need to do it. Jesus died for our sin. He didn’t have to die for us. He could have fallen into Satan's temptations when He told Jesus He didn’t have to die. Jesus ignored Him he fought the temptations because He knew that He was born into this world to save all of us and die for us, which means that He is willing to sacrifice his own life for all of us. Jesus didn't have to die for us but he did. Satan had given him the opportunity not to die but Jesus didn't accept the offer because he knew it was the right thing to do and he didn’t have to prove himself to someone who had no faith in him.
