Introduction I am writing a report about Theodore Roosevelt. My Essential Question is how did his life, when he was younger effect his presidential life? I am here to show you what happened during his life time. This paper will show his life from when he was little to when he was grown up along with most of his greatest achievements.
What I know
I know a couple of things about Theodore Roosevelt. He was born on October 27th. I know that when he was a child he was ill and that affected how much money his family had. I knew when he got older he went in to the navy. Fun fact, his dad and grandfather taught him how to shoot a gun. He helped the country with the Spanish-American war. He also helped with World War 1. After enduring these events he was given the Medal of Honor. He was also given the Noble Peace Prize. He fought in Texas for a while. When he was in Texas he had to train for bigger battles or wars. When he returned from Texas he was in the Battle of 1812. Once he reached a higher rank he created a communal Calvary. He also created road rangers to help with the battles. His grandfather was the one to inspire him to be in the navy. His dad taught him how to shoot a gun. That’s what sparked an interest in him and knowing he wanted to be in the navy. When he first shot a gun he felt proud and happy. After that he became an excellent hunter. In other words he was an excellent shooter. After he was in the navy he decided to stay a couple more years then leave. He ended up staying in the military for 6 years. He loved being in the navy for the adventure. He also loved being in the navy but he thought it was time to change. So he left the navy in 1818. He left so he could go into an actual career. Now he wanted to take his adventure somewhere else. He was going into a professional career. He was better leaving the navy at this
