From the conqueror Genghis Khan to the conquering Roman Empire, from the discovery of America to the defeat of the Spanish Armada, and from World War I to the attack on the Twin Towers, international events have changed the course of history. However, the most significant change in history which directly affected every historical event following it is the Fall found in Genesis 3. The spirit of man being under his mind, will, and emotions, separation from God, the need of a Savior, Satan becoming the enemy of mankind, pain in child birth, a hierarchy in marital status, cursed ground, hard work for sustenance, and death - these are the effects caused by the Fall which directly influence mankind. Genesis 3:15 states the following: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel” (AMP). This establishes the need of a Savior by being the first prophecy of the Messiah. God foretells of His Son’s first coming because He knows that without a perfect sacrifice, He and mankind would never be able to regain what they had lost from the Fall. In His First Advent, Jesus Christ was sent to earth by His Father to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins, and He will return again in His Second Advent to take us to be with Him in Heaven (John 14). When born again believers abide in Heaven, their spirit will be in control over their mind, will, and emotions. The separation between God and man will no longer exist; mankind’s Savior will always be present with them, and Satan will be chained no longer to harm mankind. Women will no longer have labor pains, and a hierarchy in marital status will no longer exist. A new earth will be created dissolving its cursed ground; mankind will no longer have to work hard for sustenance, and death will find no place in Heaven.
