The aftermath of the droppings resulted in countless deaths. The first atomic bomb, that was dropped on Hiroshima, killed an estimated amount of about 140,000 civilians. The second bomb, that was dropped on Nagasaki, killed about 80,000 civilians but the number would’ve been larger due to how much more powerful this particular bomb was. Both bombings undoubtedly caused an immense damage to the innocent people in Japan. Not only were the people badly hurt, the two once beautiful cities were crushed to ruins. Everywhere was full of broken pieces from buildings and homes, rubbish filled the streets, and dead bodies were lying everywhere. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not even recognizable anymore. It would take years and years for the two cities
