I have never been interested in sports or will be at a competitive level, that is how I am and I rather prefer being a good student than a good athlete. That is the reason why we are in school, to be good lambs, but that doesn't mean that I can ignore the importance of sports in many student's lives. Sports are very important in early school life. As a matter of fact, I think that sports play an important development in high school and that is preferable that students are interested in a sport rather than illegal activities. In other words, can sports help students to be better persons in most cases and to be more active with themselves instead of a dangerous gimmick. Some students take sports very seriously but not enough to have good grades and keep being part of the team, they see sports as an escape from school rather than a good complement to it and devote themselves to sports thinking that they are greater than life, and that one day they would be playing with the best team in the world. It is possible, in this nation every can becomes what they want but what if they do not make it, what are they going to do? Margaret Weiss, a top writer in Quora, says that "The school can push for anything they want, but it's something that THEY want, it does not mean that it's something that's good for students...Physical fitness and a propensity to break school records means exactly nothing when this person is at the negotiation table across from the client and needs to calculate the value of the business deal. Fitness of the body pales compared to the importance of agility of the mind." This is the athlete's nightmare, that is why it is still important to have good grades, even of you are a great athlete.
