Words can have different interpretations depending on the person. One quote may have more of an impact than others. Everyone is influenced in a different way, so each quote will have a different importance. During hard times, these quotes give us guidance and reassurance that the struggle will soon diminish. We all have days that seem like the entire world is on our back, and everything we do is wrong. On these days, I often find myself reading a quote by Henry Ford. I have also had several opportunities to share this quote with my friends. Nearly everyone that I have shared Henry’s wise words with have said they enjoy it as well. They have said that they remember the words and that it has helped them on difficult days to keep persevering. Henry Ford’s quote has inspired and encouraged me through difficult times to never give up. The hard times in my life have challenged and shaped me; these times have helped me to become a better person by forcing me to continue on through challenges. It will continue to inspire me into the future by reminding me that something difficult is not impossible, but it is merely a challenge. When I am struggling to succeed, I remember Ford’s quote and I continue to work because I know there will soon be an end to the struggle. Each person has their own challenges they face everyday. There are many inspiring quotes in, "I Beat the Odds" by Michael Oher, but one especially stood out to me. In the beginning of the book, Michael discuss his life in Hurt Village and describes how hard his life was he says, "The odds are stacked against you, but you can't let that be an excuse, you have too much to promise to let the odds beat you. It can be done. I beat the odds"(13). This quote made it really clear to me that I shouldn't let someone break me apart or tell me what I can and cannot do because of how I might look, this quote tells me that I can do anything I set my mind into doing. I will also apply this to my life by not making excuses if I can't do something, I will use this knowledge by doing anything that is a challenge,
Henry Ford was a captain of industry. He owned Ford Motors, which was an automobile company. Ford was a man who always wanted his own way and he got it most of the time. The creation he is most famous for is the FORD MODEL T, the car for the commoners. His car became an instant hit amongst the people- the local people and the working class of people because it was very affordable and was not just for the rich. Ford was a very successful businessman but not particularly a nice guy. He expected a lot from his workers but thing is that he also cared for his workers, because he knew that not only were they dependent on him but also that he depended upon them, they were the ones due to which he was gaining popularity and success throughout America. We plan out life to be certain way. I plan week in advance so I know what is going to happen this week, what is in plate that I have to take care of it before the time. You need to be control on your life not others. Some people just float though life. They think of their present but they don’t think for their future. They just do the stuff right now and later they will worry about other stuff. They are never ready for future outcome. Only you know how you want to live your life, it’s up to you how you want live it. As I say I plan week ahead for my classes, my work and my family. But it doesn’t always go as it planned. In life you always have to be ready to face some problem. If you live through the problems that is call living life. My dad always tells me that, if you accept the challenge, or face some bad time with smile on face, you will always come out of there and then even the big problems comes you will be ready for it. I don’t always believe in every quote from a philosopher. I don’t believe in this quote by Nietzsche, because I think hardships’ effects are different for everyone. Yes, in various cases people come out stronger, but there are always those who come out weaker. Although I appreciate the uplifting motivational quote, I do not agree it much like how I wont agree with many other quotes in my philosophy. I have a devotion to share my philosophy covering the independence of “free will” to the imperfection of purpose.
I love the quote “When the going gets tough the tough get going.” because it is so very true. We all have hard times its just how we decide to deal with them that counts. One very big aspect of our lives that i think can get very hard to deal with is our own love life. Lifes greatest prize is love as they say and sometimes it’s not the easiest thing ever. But we work for it because its so rewarding and all great things take hard work. Another quote that I love is “the course of love never did run smooth.”. Shakespeare shows this quote very well in a bunch of his plays because no one that was ever in love had it easy. There are many examples of this in his The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night;s Dream. In Shakespeare's Midsummer Night’s Dream three ways that love does not run smooth is because of other people, society, and because it takes hard work.
When Henry Ford was born on June 30th, 1863, neither him nor anyone for that matter, knew what an important role he would take in the future of mankind. Ford saw his first car when he was 12. He and his father where riding into Detroit at the time. At that moment, he knew what he wanted to do with his life: he wanted to make a difference in the automobile industry. Through out his life, he achieved this in an extraordinary way. That is why he will always be remembered in everyone’s heart. When he was a young man, he figured out how to use simple inventions, such as the light bulb. He then taught himself the design of a steamboat engine. His goal was to build a horse-less carriage. He had come up with several designs and in 1896, he produced his first car, the Model A. When Ford’s first car came out, he had been interviewed by a reporter and when asked about the history of the car, he had said “History is more or less bunk.” Ford worked in Thomas Edison’s factory for years and the left to become an apprentice for a car-producer in Detroit. While working there, he established how he was going to make the car.

In the novel Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, the people of the World State look up to a God figure who they call Ford. Huxley used Ford in reference to the Ford Model T which was starting production around the time that the this book was being written. Aldous Huxley is using this term of “Ford” in a mocking way. The inventor of the ford Model T is Henry Ford, who can be seen as an appropriate God figure for the World State in this novel.
