THE GOAL

My topic is “Henna for beginners”
I chose this topic because I want to learn and teach others how to make Henna designs. When I was 12yrs old, we had a neighbour who used to apply Henna designs for people including brides. I used to watch her do it and never got the chance to ask her to teach me because we moved to another area. Now I have the chance to learn it by myself through this project and also teach others who are also interested in Henna tattoos. I like decorating things and this project deals with decorating the skin especially the legs and hands making them appear beautiful and attractive.
My goal is to first learn how to prepare the Henna paste by going through all the steps and of course the simplest steps for learners to easily learn and remember and also find other alternatives for Henna paste preparations and provide information about the different products and where to get them. Secondly I want to learn how to make the Henna cone the easiest way possible and also give other ways of acquiring the cone. Finally I want to learn and make Henna tattoo sketches. I am going to learn both the Arabic and Indian henna designs which are not too complicated and combine all my work to make a booklet for beginners. So in general I learn how to make a Henna applicator from recycled material, learn how to mix and apply Henna and in the end I want to be able to apply henna on hands and submit that as my final product.
