Thump, thump, click, boom! These are the sounds that you often hear when you are out and someone is doing flooring in a house. Flooring is an important profession and a job, for any house needs a floor that is durable and is put in properly to last a long time. Not many people give flooring the credit as a job that it deserves. This is saying that there has been more work and skill that goes into flooring than it is given credit for. Hardwood flooring is a hard and challenging job that requires a lot of skill due to it involving lots of math and science, a specific design that needs to go with every type of floor, and a high variety of floor types and hardwood. The main floors that come to mind when I think of the word “floor” are carpet, tile, and hardwood. Though there are many more types, carpet, tile, and hardwood are my main three. Carpet and tile don’t have a very great variety, but hardwood does. Hardwood has an entire range of colors and shades in wood as well as durability. Some of the more expensive floors are made of exotic woods such as Brazilian walnut, Tigerwood, Mahogany, and Cypress. One of the floors for me that is the hardest to put in and has the lowest durability is bamboo floor. Bamboo, might I add, is one of my most disliked floor types due to it being a pain to put in and the fact that it splinters easily. So remember these subjects and have them memorized while also remembering that flooring is a hard and challenging job that requires a lot of skill due to it involving lots of math and science, a specific design that needs to go with every type of floor, and a high variety of floor types and hardwood.
