HOMOSEXUALITY VS HETROSEXUALITY

Homosexuality and Heterosexuality are two entirely different sex patterns. Globalization has drastically changed the traditional social pattern of sex and relationship pattern. It has introduced some new concepts in sexual characteristics of genders. The issue of heterosexual and homosexual is said to be a philosophical rather psychological concept of human sexuality which place sexual course on a permanent range from heterosexuality to homosexuality. Before presenting thorough comparison of both types it is important to first define them.
Generally homosexuality refers to or characterized by a propensity to direct sexual craving toward another individual of the same sex. It involves sexual interaction between individuals of the same sex. Apart from the general perception, homosexuality is not a genetic imperfection, a hormonal inequality, any mental illness or outcome of the demonic possession. In simple words, homosexuality is learned through a composite mixture of determining sexual elements and personal choices. Various same-sex attracted people have a sense of being special from others since their early age. With the passage of time their belief gets strong that they are different from others as they are born “Gay”. (WHAT IS HOMOSEXUALITY? 2014)
While on the other hand, heterosexuality is said to be a natural magnetism or sexual attractions between individuals of different sex or gender. In technical terms, heterosexuality refers to a lasting pattern of or temperament to understand sexual, affectionate or romantic attractions to individuals of the opposite sex. It is remarkably one of the other three leading categorization of the sexual directions. The other two are homosexuality and bisexuality. (KATZ 2013)

...uality is not something new or any emerging issue as history reveals it was also practiced in the ancient times. On the other hand heterosexuality is something taken and accorded as something natural or most acceptable in our society. Though large number of scientific research and social debates has been conducted to elaborate homosexuality as another natural sexual pattern or orientation but still it is rejected by mass audience in civilized societies.
