Analytical paragraph In the Great Gatsby F. Scott Fitzgerald showed us a lot of themes the one I see the most is wealth by showing that the more money you had the more power and more superior. He showed this in different way by the place they lived then party they threw and cars they had. This show up in lot of places and in different ways. They connect to the theme by how they cared for the item and would do anything for them to make them look nice. When nick explains the mansion like “white palaces of fashionable mansion glittered across the river.” (Fitzgerald 4). this told us that the bigger the party the more money they had devastating us that people use their money to throw big party to tell that they had a lot of money. This also showed us that the more disorganized it was the more money it cost to get it ready. When nick go to daisy and says “that the secret of castle rackrent” (Fitzgerald 85) this show that the allusion to the hit book from the 1800. When nick tells this to daisy he telling her that she has to wait to see like in the book where at the end of the book they had to wait to see what happened. At the end of the book we find out what happened to Daisy. This told us that no matter the cost they would do anything to get what they want. This showed that something big was going to happen in the book and we have to wait and see. This proves Fitzgerald used lots of figurative language to convey his thoughts of the wealthy and how they treated their positions and parties. Using the figurative language conveyed the thought that wealthy people cared more about things over people. At the end we find out that wealthy people let others clean up there messes they made without taking
