I am a passionate and influential Science and Math educator, who has been motivating and inspiring the learners for last twelve years locally and internationally. Born and raised in a family in Nepal, which values education highly, I learned the importance of education in my early age. Afterwards, I choose to teach over pursuing my career in the research field in Chemistry after completing Master’s degree in Chemistry seeing the need of effective educators in this field. Since then I have been consistently trying to make the learning of Science and Math tempting and interesting using project-based, game-based, hands-on activities and tech-integration learning activities. My nature of connecting learning Science and Math in the classroom with daily life activities helped me to stand as a distinguished student.
I developed an aptitude for problem-solving during my younger years, an attribute that became an integral part of my identity: the result of indulging in Sudoku on the daily newspaper. Naturally, I gravitated towards mathematics, developing an intellectual and academic interest in math. As an avid math enthusiast, I spend most of my free time on numberphile, a math channel, gaining insight into new and old perplexing math concepts; currently, the most intriguing are the infinite series. Exposure to different aspects of math inspired me to develop a theorem or prove a conjecture and thus I undertook further mathematics at A-levels to familiarise myself with higher level mathematics and attain preparation for the mental strain required to take
Software Application Development has been my preferred field since my second year of engineering. I have deep interest in how mobile appications are developed, how applications are published on stores and many thoughts inspired me to gain an insight into mobile applications development, especially Android operating system. Android is an open source technology which amazes me the most, the independence of working for yourself or for your clients makes this skill even more valuable. The innovative developments in this field such as the latest Android TV has encouraged me to dive deeper into this technology. To study in USA has always been a dream because i feel the country has best to offer when it comes to research.
I though why not try to start playing with different software to help my friends gaming experience as well as everyday computer use. Well to start off with I started creating game servers for my friends to play on and use to have fun. We all had a blast and I loved making my friends happy and being able to control way we could experience software. Then I decided well if I can make servers run great for my friends I wonder if I could code some software too. Well that’s when it hit me right at that moment is when I had a huge interest in computers and knew that computer science was the path in life I was going to take.

Growing up in the late 90’s, I witnessed computers revolutionize India – we had cellphones and personal computers and the internet transforming our lives - and like most other kids, I was fascinated by them. It wasn’t until I took course on QBasic in 8th grade, however, that I really took a liking to computer programming. The idea of computer ‘languages’ seemed almost magical to me. Over the years, that proclivity for programming grew into a passion and led me to take more programming electives in higher grades. I also took the initiative to set up a student-run Computer Club in my high school and host our first annual Computer Symposium. My upbringing in Delhi also made me aware of the gaping inequalities of wealth distribution in our society and as my interest in Computer Science deepened, it only reinforced my belief that lean-technologies can help governments of developing countries in bringing their policies to the altar of execution more efficiently.
I took up Computer Science and Engineering as my discipline in Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, one of the premier institutes in India. My undergraduate education has been a great learning and enriching process for me. The reason why I want to follow a computer science career began when I was fifteen. Starting from a math-specialized student in secondary school, I riskily registered for informatics as my major in high school. Surprisingly, from simple lines of a primitive program to concise algorithms for solving complicated problems, everything was appealing to me right at the very first time I learn programming. They unveiled a whole new world behind the familiar interfaces of computers, explained many things that I used to ambiguously call “technology”. Enlightened by such amazing subject, I decided to spend more and more time for computer-related activities. I started training seriously for competitive programming contests, translated and wrote academic articles about algorithms for informatics department’s books. I also founded a small group of students whose members share the same hobby of computer but interest in various subfields. Throughout three years in high school, those activities not only sharpened my knowledge and enhanced my social relationships, but also gradually brought up my fervent love for computer. Such miracle machine now has become an indispensable part of my life, and computer’s world has become my passion. Therefore,
