Imagine a hockey playing who can hold records, make it to the hall of fame, and be considered one of the best hockey players of all time, that would be Gordie Howe. Gordie Howe started playing hockey when he was 7 years old. He started playing in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings when he was 18. He played in the NHL for 32 years and played in more than 1,500 games. Gordie Howe is easily one of the greatest if not the greatest hockey player of all time. Howe had a pretty rough childhood, but he overcame that and went to play in the NHL when he was older. To Begin With, “He was one of nine siblings. When Gordie was nine days old, the Howes moved to Saskatoon,where his father worked as a labourer during the Depression.
