History took thousands of years to evolve, and is still being made as we speak. I will admit that there many interesting events, whether they were good or bad. I have seen only a few of them. If I could witness any event in history, I would choose Creation. No mortal has ever actually seen this spectacle, but based off its description, it’s one magnificent show. Before the beginning, there was nothing, just God and nothingness. Then all of a sudden, “In the beginning, God made the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2. Out of the nothing, a masterpiece is created. I think we all know the story. Over the course of the week, God creates everything. On the seventh day, He states simply, that his Creation is very good, and rests. …show more content…

This single act of God, Creation, is the ultimate event of everyone’s history, since if it never occurred, nothing would have followed. Before the beginning, there was nothing. It was not even a vacuum. It was simply not there. Time did not exist. When Moses was writing the Torah, God told him to start at “In the begging”, for a simple reason. We cannot comprehend this sort of nothingness. We live in a three dimensional space, and are bounded by time. This transition between “before the beginning” and “In the beginning”, I will admit is a bit dull, but is very necessary to set the stage for Creation.
