Will You Watch Gay Church Programming? The vast number of evangelical Christians are opposed to homosexuality because it is a sin as defined by the Bible. While fewer than half of Americans say homosexuality is sinful, according to Lifeway research, "two-thirds of evangelicals say sex between two people of the same gender remains sinful, whether it is legal or not." That number rises to nearly 90 percent if the evangelical is a member of the clergy. Surprisingly, according to the Washington Post, blacks are even more likely to resist the homosexual agenda than with whites, even black democrats. In an effort to sway the minds of the masses, Lyanla Vanzant has "devoted three episodes of her popular series, "Iyanla Fix My Life" to help two gay pastors reveal their sexuality to their family and their congregation," as reported in an article on Hello Beautiful. BET is also getting on the gay bandwagon and is promoting a new documentary which will air on November 2 called “Holler If You Hear Me: Black and Gay In The Church”.
