King Cobra casts the actor James Franco as a pimp and producer who runs his business through his own lover played by Garrett Clayton. Clayton plays Sean Lockhart, a teen who enters the online gay porn website which is known as Brent Corrigan, displaying himself on a sofa in front of porn director Stephen who can barely focus on the shoot because he is so attracted to Brent. Stephen runs a thriving business from his home that his neighbors constantly question him about, and invites the Brent to stay with him. Soon the Internet loves Brent, and Stephen gets to at least tell himself the boy is sleeping with him out of pure attraction and the love he has for Brent. Meanwhile, Franco's Joe runs a less established enterprise, Viper Boys that really just consists of him and his own boy toy, Harlow. This is both a more established relationship and a more exploitative one: Nicknaming him "Piggy Bank," Franco rents Harlow's services to other middle-aged men, then gets furiously jealous at the notion that Harlow enjoys the encounters. Essentially, no matter the gender, race, background, humans can receive love in 5 different ways; words of affirmation, acts of service, affection, quality time, and gifts. Throughout the movie, I learned that Brent responds to love in 2 of these ways. Brent seems to be happiest when he is spoiled with gifts, taken out for expensive dinners and being told he’s sexy and amazing (words of affirmation). On the other hand, Brent didn’t respond well to the other forms of love. For example, when Stephen showed Brent affection and told him “I want to feel wanted” and proceeded to have sex with him, Brent received it in the wrong way which led him to leaving Stephen
