In the story Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, there is one evident character that is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The character that is responsible for these deaths is Friar Lawrence. The first reason that Friar Lawrence is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is because he didn’t give Romeo the letter in time so he didn’t know that Juliet wasn’t actually dead, she had just drank an anesthesia.
