A novel titled the “brave new world” touches on a continuous theme of no free will, technology, control, routine lifestyle, and hopelessness. Brave new world leaves a that one should always fight for freedom, choose to live the way that one wants to, and highlights that one can easily get manipulated by a higher knowing source. A movie called the island has an ongoing theme that one should never settle and always fight for one's freedom. this movie relates to this novel due to the similar themes. In the Brave new world the author highlights that the use of technology to control society is a very risky procedure scientists believe that life with strict control will make a perfect society, citizens live In a world with no feelings, or opinions nor do they get to make their own choices. In the island, the characters are chosen to go to an island that is meant to be an amazing place these characters live under strict control, the main character named Lincoln Six-Echo is a chosen one and noticed he had no free will from the beginning of the movie. Lincoln Six Echo went to the bathroom and the toilet studied his urine and suggested nutrition control due to the excess sodium he has, he despised the fact that he was in a tightly controlled compound. In the movie the island the chosen ones get killed immediately when they have been used in the hospital for the others, a character says, “fear death because nothing may lie after,” characters in this movie fear death this is different due to the fact in brave new world dying civilians are still youthful, there is no aging, death is an enjoyable experience to them and due to the fact that the world state does not accept individuality, death of a single person is not important at all. Dr. Gaffney, a Doctor in the novel, says, "Death conditioning begins at eighteen months.
