Though some would call Frank Sinatra a legend others would disagree. He has an interesting background. He has also accomplished so much. The things he has done in his lifetime can truly show how amazing he truly was. Frank was born December 12th, 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey (Encyclopedia of Hollywood). He was the son of Martin Sinatra and Dolly Garavente Sinatra. Frank had a normal childhood like any other. He was an adored only child. Sinatra as a child was impatient with formal school so he dropped out. By 1932, Sinatra had decided to become a singer. He also recorded more than 1,4000 single hit songs(“Frank Sinatra”). He won Academy award for best actor in a movie.Frank sinatra had many notable accomplishments in his life span. From 1941-1950 his music was always found in the weekly top ten play charts across the country. his movie career was just as successful as he appeared in numerous motion picture movies. His hard work paid off in 1953 when he was nominated and won the academy award for best supporting actor in “From here to Eternity”. The next year he would be nominated for best actor in “The man with the Golden Arm”. Sinatra was recognized with multiple music industry awards throughout his career. It stands to be known that Frank Sinatra always worked hard. When his singing career went down pursued a new dream, the dream of acting, and he didn’t give up until he did his best. Frank Sinatras religious and political views were as normal as anybody else’s.Sinatra’s politics are divided by the 1970s. Growing up, he was exposed, rather glaringly, to the Democratic Party. Sinatra’s mother was a leader in the local Democratic Party and radically liberal to the point that she would perform illegal abortions in secret–though she was twice tried and convicted for it.
