In this problem we had to create a new irrigation system for the football field.We had to determine the best route for the pipes to travel while also making sure we can water each part of the field. After we found this out we had to create a rough draft of our findings and find the calculations of or sprinklers and water pipes and then create a digital representation of our rough draft on Adobe illustrator.
As we started our project we had to go to create a model using a 160 by 360 angle.We used a radius of 20 to create our sprinklers.We had to count every 4 squares to create spacing for the sprinklers.We found this out by Dividing Our radius of 20 by 5.The way I determined the number of sprinklers I needed was I new on one row I could fit 19 sprinklers and I new that I had nine rows to use so multiplied 199and I found that I needed 171 sprinklers to cover the whole football field.Lastly I had to determine the placement of the

The NFL position in this article makes them look very greedy and indifferent about the overall health of their football players. One of the ethical perspectives that can be used to analyze the NFL's position in this article is deontology. Deontology is the perspective where rules is the defining factor for ethical decisions. From the deontology perspective it makes it seem that the NFL has decided not to follow the rules and even blurred the lines as to what potential injuries their players can get. They wanted their injured players to play without having to follow through the with proper procedure in verifying that the players are in conditions healthy enough to play. In the 2015 AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts, the Patriots were accused of tampering with their footballs. They allegedly deflated the footballs to 2 PSI below the legal limit, supposedly giving them an unconstituted and illegal advantage. On May 11th, 2015, the National Football League ruled that the Patriots organization was guilty, penalizing them with a 1 million dollar fine, the loss of a first round pick in the 2016 NFL draft, and the loss of a fourth round pick in the 2017 draft. Tom Brady, the quarterback, was personally penalized with a four-game suspension for his involvement in the incident. He claims, however, to be innocent and has been exhausting every possible legal avenue to avoid his punishment.

Even though their protective gear wasn 't all that protective they still made contact with the players of the opposing teams. It’s been a strange year in the NFC East, the Cowboys have had a plethora of injury issues, Chip Kelly’s offense has been stagnant and the Giants haven’t played an ounce of defense. Washington has been one of the surprising teams in the league and is looking to climb back to the top of their division.
Everybody has watched an NFL game and has seen a big hit before. That is one of the reasons why people love the game, but the NFL is trying to make the game safer with safer equipment and making new rules but some people believe it is ruining the sport. With the new rules there will be fewer injuries, players will have to adjust how they play, and it will affect the audience and their views on the sport. With the new safety regulations and the safer equipment there will probably be fewer injuries in the NFL and in any game from College to High school or even little league.
This is the first year I have ever had an official football training camp. The first four weeks at Bethel is called training camp. Every morning you have to wake up at 5am for practice. Then you have weight lifting at 11am. After that you have two more meetings at 1pm and 3pm. To end off the day we have another practice at 5pm and that lasts to 8pm. Lights also have to be turned off by 11pm and you better not be caught outside of your dorm room after that time. Did I mention me have to eat mandatory breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I have never been that exhausted my entire life. All I did during that period of time was ear, sleep, football, and make phone calls home. Hopefully I will know what to expect and I will be well prepared for the next.
As an American traditional sport, football appears to be a dangerous influence upon the youth causing physical and mental restraints. In today’s society, preventative measures no longer seem to be a priority, focusing more on players and their MVP status. What worries people are possible head concussions affiliated with football itself and strategies to overcome this burden might excel by educating high school students on safety measures and forcing a regulatory guideline on students who have suffered head injuries. As serious as it sounds, concussions are not only severe to players, but can also cause long term effects.
American football is full of exciting competition, but do we realize the danger! Helmet safety in football remains an immense problem as the sport accounts for the highest incidence of concussions. Since leather football helmets, the technology for safer helmets has improved drastically and continue to improve. The development of newly designed helmets and technology has lowered the risk of head injuries for players. Furthermore, improvements in helmet testing methods have led to better understanding head injuries and the protectiveness of the helmet. In respect, football helmet safety still remains a challenge, such as a necessity of a proper categorization system to rank helmets and regulations to improve helmet safety. Regardless, standards and regulations attempt to address helmet safety through government intervention and a proper measuring system for football helmets. Despite the cultural perception of football, measures are taken to ensure safety, such as the reforms and education with regards to playing safer football. I intend to address the technological advances and regulation of football towards the discussion of helmet safety. Therefore the aggresivity in football’s culture should embrace stronger helmet standards and regulation that are promoted through improved testing methods and innovations because of the need to prevent further dangerous head injuries, especially concussions.
Struggling to maintain consciousness as well as retain my vision after embracing a brutal hit enforced from an opposing player really makes me question the seriousness of football related trauma. How many injuries does it take until it really matters? For me, after having experience with concussions, I came to the realization that the positive externalities of football do not make up for the numerous negative externalities. Football, as well as any other contact sport, can be very dangerous and potentially threatening to a persons overall health and future.
