Please accept my resume for a part time position as a Food Bank Support Staff at St. James Campus.

If you are seeking an employer with a strong desire to learn, strong work ethics and an ability to adapt and learn in any situation, then look no further. I am a fast learner and a good problem solver. I am a creative person and because of that I find I can come up with many ways to solve a problem by looking at different points of view.

I just graduated Culinary Skills at Durham College and in the fall I will be studying Culinary Management at George Brown. I have work at a food bank where I would unload the trucks and stock and organize the shelves. I would cut and package fresh bread and bagged food for distribution. At Durham College I volunteered for many special dinner events at Bistro ‘67 to gain knowledge and skills. Many of the events were hosted by Chef Jamie Kennedy; he has taught me a lot. I help prep the meals and I help plate and garnish meals. This has helped me learn how important it is to be able to work as a team and individually. I currently have the first aid and CPR-C and Safe Food Handler Certificate. I was employed with Humber college and work as a housekeeper and Sustainability Ambassador. I help run The Circle which is a support group where we also do peer to peer sessions. I do research and help plan events and host weekly discussions topics and a variety of issues. Also I have planned events and help hosted events to the public through the Green Collar Corps. I have also worked office jobs with them while I did general office duties such as creating, organizing and filing papers.
