Many people dream of having a college degree someday. However, most people are not able to accomplish that dream due to cost of tuition. A college degree can be an investment. It can give people a better life to live and a better career. Going to college can be very challenging due to harder classwork and a lot of homework. Students hardly have time to do anything outside of school because there is so much studying to do. It takes a very motivated person to achieve a college degree. Colleges these days offer many ways to afford tuition and other expenses for school. There is government funding called financial aid, although not every student is able to receive the funds. Students whose parents have higher income than most will not be able to receive financial aid funds. Financial aid is mostly given to students who are married and/or have kids. I do not agree with how the process works. It takes a teenager who has a kid without being married to be able to go to college for free. I do not think the government is fair to many people. Therefore, students who do not receive financial aid, have to have a job to pay his or her way through college. Having a job and going to college can be very difficult due to not having any time to study and do homework. …show more content…

Student loans can be a good way to pay for school. The student does not have to pay the loan off till he or she graduates and gets a job. This method can be very helpful to many students. With this method, a student does not have to have a job and he or she can have more time on homework. Student loans are probably not ideal for everyone though. It takes a long time to pay off a student loan due to how high tuition is. Tuition can cost about 10 thousand dollars or more at a community college. But, when a student moves to a university, tuition cost gets even higher. It takes years to pay off those student
