Focus on the Personal Life: The media focuses on the married life, dating life and other personal circumstances of the female athletes. The focus is on the "womanliness" and not their athletic ability. Minimal Media Coverage: There minimal media coverage of female sports in itself shows how irrelevant female sports are thought to be by the media.
