North carolina became the first u.s state to require transgender people to use bathrooms in public buildings or schools that match their gender on their birth certificate. Although we live in a free country, everything isn't free. The gay community is suffering because they can't be themselves. I disagree with the transgender laws because that is putting people's lives in danger, transgender people should be able to live the life as they appear to the world, and if a transgender changes sex physically they should have alrights to live the other life.
Have you ever had to defend yourself in a bathroom? Gay people get torched everyday for being gay. I think the transgender community should have the right to use the restroom of the gender they appear. Some people may argue that it would be a dangerous liability, but try walking a mile in the shoes of a person who is transgender.Young gay boys that are in middle school and high school are the first targets in the school systems. If a transgender male walked into a male restrooms dressed and a female, 9 times out of 10 their life will be in danger. Males that are not gay or have no intentions to be gay, are very sensitive to the subject. Transgender people work hard to make themselves look a certain way to satisfy themselves. We live in a free country, if a man wants to be a women and it's not affecting anyone, why is that wrong ? they handle their own business. Transgender people are still human. No one should have to fight to be themselves. Expressing yourself should be a natural thing. People in the world are so opinionated that they forget that is not their life that their commenting
