Most people know clowns as funny, goofy, happy people dressed in colorful or decorative attire. Others may better think of clowns to be creepy and somewhat evil. Coulrophobia or better known as the fear of clowns has been discovered over several decades ago. It has actually been researched to be one of the most common phobias. Most researchers agree that the main reasons for coulrophobia is the make-up and exaggerated features of the clown, the scary movies about clowns, or a past tragedy event in someone’s childhood relatable to clowns. Clowns are not the typical looking humans. They have: very thin to no eyebrows, typically drawn on black, their eyes are deep and sometimes bordered by a shape. Most clowns have cherry red cheeks, lips and a nose as round as a tomato. Their hair is sometimes bald, but most of the time big and fluffy. You wouldn't usually find these features scary, but being that they are different and unnatural; many people make them to be crazy. As the clown fears were eventually starting to fade away, they have made their way back up into people's minds. This time higher than ever before, because there has been actual siting in Greenville, South Carolina. Over time there has been clowns spotted in over ten states across America. They are raping and murdering women, children and innocent citizens across The United States. Its guided cause of this is known to be from a former rapist and serial killer by the name of John Wayne Gacy. Gacy was arrested in 1978, who became known as the Killer Clown after it was discovered that he had performed as Pogo the Clown at children's parties and other events; however, Gacy did not actually kill or rape anyone while wearing his clown
