A murmuring hum caught in a robust chest cavity was the sign of his waking. The sharpening of Lord Kazetora’s breath as his lashes parted, then closed tightly, then parted one more. His crimsons flickered like quiet flames in the darkness of his den. Silken whiskers twitched softly against the short hairs of his paws. His strong muscles loosened and twitched satisfyingly beneath his white pelage as the he stretched the length of his body against his nest. His fur was ruffled, with a few stray bits of moss stuck to the strands. The lord looked relatively bed-ridden. With a lazy blink, he begab to make his way to the clearing of the Date Clan, with a relatively blank visage and half-lidded eyes at his nearby clanmates as he padded out of his territory. …show more content…

There was slight arrogance to his posture as he dipped his head towards the young lord, his red optics peering at him. “Masamune!” The sound of another's urgent voice caught the lord's attention, sky blue eyes slowly sliding over like oil to the approach of another cat close to him. Masamune didn't seem particularly interested or irritated by Kazetora as he swung near, his posture too tired to even bother with pulling away. A soft huff of breath came from his mouth as he began to pull himself up at Kazetora’s call, shaking his head and lapping at some of the ruffled strands of his sleek pelage. His voice resounded, in an albeit irritated reply. "What do you want?" Kazetora’s albino visage took on a nervous look, and his silver-lined pelage shifted as he came a bit closer.
