If you 're not careful about the information that you display on facebook, as a job seeker it can limit your opportunities. Facebook in general have privacy issues. Although there is a privacy settings the website is not a hundredth percent private. Even with the friend only setting , you have to be mindful that your friends knows individuals that are not your facebook friend who know other individuals. In other words if you 're engaging your self in inappropriate activity, having distasteful photos, discriminatory comments, employers and prospective employers may come across it which will hinder your opportunities to join that company.
