Eyelid Surgery/Blepharoplasty for a Fresher, Younger Look
A cosmetic surgery procedure designed to reduce puffiness/bagginess under lower eyelids and hooded skin on upper eyelids
Clinically referred to as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery is a cosmetic surgery procedure that involves removal of excess skin, muscle or sometimes fat from the lower and upper eyelids to improve the appearance of the eyelids or correct vision problems related to overhanging eyelids.
Eyelid surgery can correct:
• drooping upper lids
• puffiness below your eyes
• eyelid problems that may obstruct your vision

The surgery can be performed on the upper eyelid, lower eyelid or both.
• Upper Eyelid Surgery - In upper eyelid surgery, incisions are made in the skin on the upper eyelid to remove excess skin/fat. The skin is then sutured and a new eyelid crease is created.
• Lower Eyelid Surgery – In lower eyelid surgery, incisions are made below the lash line or inside the eyelid (transconjunctival blepharoplasty technique for the removal of excess fat). The technique may be used in combination with laser resurfacing of the eyelid skin to correct wrinkles or fine lines.
