The floral industry has floral designers that construct arrangements with many different type of flowers and many other categories of equipment. The type of flowers that they would use would be live or dried flowers. These would create floral pieces counting bouquets, corsages, wreaths, and center pieces. Not all the arrangements would be designed with flowers they can be replaced by candy and ribbon to be decorated. These beautiful arrangements can be used for any event for example wedding and funerals, these are more common used. Also they can be used to celebrate special occasions such as anniversities, holidays, and births. The median payment in 2015 was $25,010 per year. The amount per hour was $12.02. This was a satisfactory amount of money for the beginners when starting their job. In 2008 the annual payment was $23,230. For the successful florist it was $35,000 each year. In may of 2012 the median payment was $23,560 this was a good amount of money for the beginner that start in the floral designers. Overall the amount of money that the designers receive are exceptional for when they started. The florist mostly work full time but it varies with the hours they might work. During the holidays the florist are more bussiy and have many orders to do. Many of the floral designers when starting their career as a florist show their diploma or any certificate that showed that you have practiced some of the skills in the floral industry. Creativity is really important because that's the main process to think about how would you would like the arrangement to look like. The organization is also something really big because you have to see what decorations and mostly the flowers will go for the arrangement. Many events like wedding would be asking for a specific way that they would like the arrangements. The price is what the florist and the client see when they get the flowers that they would like and the rest of the decorations. For the dry flowers the florist would dry their own flowers or they would order the flowers from a flower shop the same company they work. Some of the prices for the arrangements are expensive, but they show the hard work that the flories designers do. Overall I think being a florist is a great job by working with the flowers.
