The renaissance was like the air we breathe, it touched every facet of European life, and influenced the spread of education, the arts, from the past Greco Roman culture era to the present renaissance period, and it had enormous impact on Europe. The birthplace of the renaissance era affected European history between, (1300-1600), and the revival of classical humanism spread from its birthplace in Italy throughout Western Europe. Humanism was the belief that people could live without religion, it was amazing for that time, the thought of people pulling away from the dominate religions. In addition, it was the belief that people could live by using their intelligence and reason instead of depending on a God or a religion. “Patriarch,” referred to as the father of Humanism, provided the layout or format of the renaissance period through scholarship and education “classical humanism,” was the movement to recover and revive Greco Roman culture. This was the pursuit to reestablish what ancient Romans had called (studia) humanitatis, which was a program of study that embraced grammar, rhetoric, history, poetry, and moral philosophy. In addition to the arts, the period produced some of the greatest artists, such as Raphael, Brunelleschi, Verrocchio, and the notable Michelangelo, and Leonardo De Vinci. Artists began to encompass the natural world in their work, the result a unique and sophisticated body of art, which produced new standards, for most of the paintings, sculptures, and architecture in the west.
The renaissance art was still largely religious, however, the style and design was more lifelike and realistic than ever. Europe was in the midst of an economic boom, with prosperity flourishing throughout Europe, it le...

...and not on a time scale format. I am sure the powers to be back then, were not telling these famous artists to rush through their work, and lets wrap it up in twenty weeks. In Korea, the students start school in the morning session for eight hours, and then attend evening session for another eight hours, constituting a minimum of 16 hours daily. In Iceland, it is not the amount of hours the students attends, it is based on the quality, and passion of the instructors that teach, Iceland’s system seems to be outpacing all other systems of education worldwide. One thing the 500 cable channels of entertainment, certainly are not doing wonders for our system of education. Time will tell how America stacks up against these other systems, I would love to see a new push for a cross educational system, where the masses were excited in learning “everything”.
