What would it take for you to open your own restaurant?? Many people have dreamed of opening their own restaurant, and many have tried, but what does it really take to do it? Who would you hire to do the job and do the job well? Those are some of the question many people want to know and I’m here to tell you. The how’s, the when’s, the what’s, and the where’s. When you are in this business, there a lot of things you need to know. So I’m here to tell you what I would do and how I would do it, if I decided to open up a restaurant. One of the things you and I will need in this business is patience, perseverance, a high tolerance for stress, and a sense of humor. If you have those four things, you can be successful in the restaurant business. It’s all about keeping the customer satisfied in every area and enjoying the job while you do it. I really don’t think that it’s hard to run a restaurant, but you have to have a business mindset on the job and off the job. Some may want Italian, Indian, Soul food, or even Spanish. The type of restaurant I want to open is a casual dinner restaurant. Chicken, collard greens, rolls, etc. and on some days we would have burgers and fries. I want to have foods that will keep the people coming back. I want to have a two-sided restaurant that would have two different scenes going on at one time. One side would be for the people that want to actually sit down and enjoy their food and socialize and the other side would be a lounge type setting where there would be a dance floor with a stage where people can perform. I think that side would keep everyone coming back because they will be able to eat, drink, talk, and dance all in
