Teen Activists Teen activists are determined to change something that is happening or going on in the world that is not right to them. Teen activism is where someone wants to change something to make a difference in the world or the community they live in. To become a teen activist you need to have a plan or a goal on what you want to change and how you're going to do it. Some examples of teen activists are Faye Carey and how she is determined to stop animal abandonment, Alex Libby and how he wants to stop bullying, and last but not least Malala Youtifanzi and how she helps girls right to an education. One teen activist that is determined is Faye Carey and she is determined to stop pet abandonment. In the article it said, It all started when she was volunteering for an animal shelter and she saw how many animals needed a home and care and that’s when she decided to try and help stop pet abandonment. Faye Carey loves to work at the animal control she spends three hours out of every Friday trying to help catch abandoned animals and give love to others. The text stated, She has re-homed over sixty dogs so far and hopes to work they're when she is done with college. She gets a lot of support on helping adopt out her dogs and people really love how she is trying really hard to end pet abandonment. …show more content…

Alex Libby is fighting for Anti-bullying and help try to stop it all over. According to the text, It started when Alex starred in “bully” and ever since Alex has gone back to school after that he has been getting picked on because he looks different from everyone else in school. Alex knows bullying is not right and wants to help stop bullying all over every state and ever school, He started a project called “the bully project” to try and help stop bullying all around.
