I would like to enquire about the opportunity of being considered for this role as an exercise physiologist. I am currently postgraduate student in the process of completing an MSc degree in Integrated Physiology in Health and Disease at the University of Nottingham and having previously completed my undergraduate degree in BSc Sport and Exercise Science at Staffordshire University. Throughout my education, I have gained extensive research experience in both human based and analytical lab projects that involved conducting exercise tests and health screening whilst data collection as well as currently performing analytical tests (protein immunoblotting) as a postgraduate student. In addition, I was also heavily engaged in work placements and experiences. This include running a university sport science clinic which involved providing sport science support to individuals ranging from elite athletes to the general population regarding of whether their goals were to improve performance or health and fitness. Furthermore, I have completed a placement at the Royal Stoke University hospital cardiac rehabilitation department. This valuable experience provided a good insight into how exercise directly impact health, and for that reason, my interest in this area continues to develop and strengthen. …show more content…
