Ethical Dilemma Paper I am in my final semester in college and decided to go seek employment as well. I have sent out several scores of my resumes for many different job opportunities. I received a telephone call for a position, but it was not in, my interest. I decided I needed to be open to more opportunities. I scheduled an interview and it turned out very well. The recruiter actually offered me the job and asked me to start as soon as I could. But at the same time, I am not too sure as to if I want that job or not due to it not being in my interest. This choice I have made, I feel would be an ethical dilemma. It would seem to be one because an ethical dilemma is a situation where it involves a mental conflict between the moral imperatives, to where they would have to obey which would then result in transgressing another. In other words, this would be ethical because I wanted a specific job in which would fit my preferences, whereas the job I was offered did not meet my expectations due to it not interesting me. …show more content…

Then again, trying something different would be beneficial. You never know if you will like it or not. Due to accepting this offer, it would be a challenge in order to pursue another job as well. Interviews tend to be in the morning in which my job would be, so in order to schedule an interview for another job, I would need to request off that day, which means losing money I could be making, to go for another job in which I do not know if I will even get. This will be something where I will have to take some time to decide how I want to continue with my work
