Case Study – Ethical Dilemma Morals and principles rule our behavior, these elements are termed ethics. When working as a counselor or psychologist these ethics determine our level of professionalism and commitment to our clients. A case study will be reviewed in the context of ethics. Ethical standards and codes will be evaluated and relevant standards will be utilized and justified for relevance as it pertains to the case study. Multicultural issues within the decision-making model will be considered. I found it challenging to prioritize these privileges. I have a white skin color and I was born in the United States, this is a privilege that has afforded me some of the best opportunities of life. Although I am not a member of the prevalent culture of the United States, I am accepted due to my skin color, and the United States system of education and business opportunities, prioritize those that excel, various other parts of the world do not provide theses types of opportunities. Another privilege is my socioeconomic class; I do not worry about money. I have been fortune that I have made some effective investments as well as having success in several business endeavors. This success puts me in a social class that made it possible to network with others in that social class. This led me to another privilege, my marriage. I extraordinary privileged to live in a stable and loving marriage. I have a safe haven to escape from the stresses of the world. Our relationship is supportive, loving, and respectful. I have various other privileges, at one time in my life I was homeless, this experience provided me with an opportunity to open my mind to appreciate all the opportunities, luck, and advantages I have
