Not only is it lawfully wrong for a religious test to exist for the entry of refugees but also morally wrong because the U.S is a safe haven for many refugees of different religions, the First Amendment prohibits it and many religions exist in the United states already exist. The United States resettles more refugees than other countries; however, from 2009 to 2015 the number of refugees accepted per year has decreased by 5,000. In 2015 there was approximately 70,000 refugees admitted into the United States.
