At Essex High School we have an array of different classes we can take. Anthropology should be added to the choices of classes students at Essex High School can take. Anthropology is a Social science and it would be added as a Social studies class. Anthropology teaches students about human culture. Students would get the opportunity about where they came from and how evolution has made them who they are. Anthropology is not an easy concept. It will challenge students thinking and make them think more in depth.
Anthropology is a combination of the science and the history of humanity. There are multiple branches that are brake off from Anthropology like cultural and linguistic anthropology. The people who do this kind of work are Forensic Anthropologists. These Anthropologists are payed to travel around the world and uncover the secrets of humanity. It’s not just the study our cultures history. It’s also about our culture in present time. Media anthropologists study the media and its effects on humanity. They study movie, internet and even the culture behind the radio. Anthropology is a broad course and it will interest a range of audiences.
