Social Institutions are mainly the organizations that are part of our everyday lives. This is religion, education, and government. Social institutions structure the behaviors and beliefs of many individuals around the world today. Many people today will never know that they are part of social institutions because they believe that the organization that they are in is different from others when it is actually the same. My purpose in writing this analysis is to prove why religion as a whole should no longer continue to be practiced. In this analysis of religion will discuss the history of religion, where religion stands today in this society, and a brief discussion on the acceptations of homosexuality within the church.
A religious institution is an organization with different beliefs in and worship of a God or gods with controlling power that made the world what it is today. Many religious institutions provide a safe place for individuals to come and worship God. A place to learn more about what God did and all that was sacrificed for the people. However, in today society religious institutions have changed from what it use to be. As was stated before many people don 't believe in the same religion or any religion at all. As a study showed "A Discussion of the 2014 U.S. Religious Landscape Study" the American public has become less religious over the years. Therefore since America is becoming less religious as the years pass; Religion institutions should no longer continue because of how fast the numbers has decreased and also because of the information that has been giving over the past years only has been about what 's going on today in the world due to crime and not it 's main focus on the religion
