Negative deviance can be seen in Cameron Hooker. This man kidnapped, tortured, and mentally abused a woman for months on end. With this, he coerced her into listening to his every command and even go back to him when he allowed her to go out in public. Not only did he break several laws but he also broke moral codes embedded into society without showing any kind of remorse for his actions. 6. Someone who is an example of rate busting in society is someone who tries to work over time in a company. They go into work early, is the last person to leave, and takes any initiative to complete a task given to them. They idolize violence as well as excessive partying and degrading women. Although this is true, they still have huge followings off children and young adults that look up to them and wise to be just like them in every way possible. 8.
