So what is it like to lead a life in the 21st century??!! I may say, hectic schedules, jam packed traffic, pressure cooker lifestyle, diluted dreams, great aspirations, less to little comfort, ranting neighbors and an upside down world. The list is practically endless and we can discuss until the cows come home. But amidst these, lie the opportunities to have a welcoming but secured home, comforting atmosphere, relieving lifestyle, peace of mind and a greater chance at enhancing the quality of our lives; all at the cost of not sacrificing our day to day activities. Sounds interestingly convincing??!!
Of all the factors that may irritate a person, one would surely like to keep peace at home, peace in the world. How would it be like to have the door of your home open automatically at your arrival from work, the night lamps automatically shutting down once you sleep, the AC mellowed down once you cling on to your blanket deep in slumber, the HD TV turned off by itself once you have your favorite moments celebrated after Federer triumphing over Nadal or Manchester United returning triumphant??!!! How about the motherly love that you were craving for??!!
“A fantasy coming reality!!!” is what you may have thought…
Well, Science has got all the answers ready and that even so idiot a television set, looks very handsomely intelligent these days. Thanks to HOME AUTOMATION that we are living to witness and have one of the most comfortable and intelligent days in the history of the mankind.
So, what exactly is HOME AUTOMATION??!!
This is what the Wikipedia has to define, “Home Automation is the residential extension of building automation. It is automation of the home, housework or household activity. Home automation may include centralized...

...ng decisions. Not that these are available to the elite and the selected few, but the production and its associated costs also play an important factor towards its exclusivity.
To round it off, we can say ‘so much, so little’, that the world has really become a smarter place to live in. There was a time when Home Automation techniques were a stuff of Star Wars and one could just dream of it. Fast forward the time machine by some decades and enter into this modern era of DLNA and Living Tomorrow, wherein even your car as sophisticated as an Audi is connected with your Siri and that everything moves on its own. There is a day not far away that we could see ourselves heading to some Skynet sort of happenings or an Avatar may be...
Now the question is, is there a Terminator waiting for some John Connors amongst us??!!
Are you John Connors?!!
Think again…. **chuckles**
Automation is a step beyond mechanization, Automation is the use of control systems and information technologies to reduce the need for human work in production of goods and services. Where mechanization provided human operators with machinery to assist them with the muscular requirements of work, automation greatly decreases the need for human sensory and mental requirements as well. Automation plays an increasingly important role in the world economy and in daily life. Automatic systems are being preferred over manual system. Through this project we have tried to show automatic control of a house as a result of which power is saved to some extent. The Global System for Mobile Communications
When I first started playing the episode, Ira Glass, host and producer of This American Life, immediately grabbed my attention with the line, “Sometimes things are not what they seem. Big news, I know. Here’s an interesting example of it.” Ira, with a voice clear and engaging, went on to describe the account of Damien Cave, a reporter for The New York Times, on an airplane. Damien was looking through an in-flight magazine that was using ads for tourists to attract people to various lands that were centers of drug and gang-related violence. The prologue had started with an interview with Damien and captured vivid descriptions of his analysis of how ads are tools of those in power to coerce people into thinking and consuming. “Propaganda is
We need to separate the definition of peace and the definition of comfort as it applies to a people's own independence.
The major technology change that has had the greatest impact on the quality of my life is the spread of uses for the Internet. The wide range of uses for the internet has extremely benefited my life. I use the Internet to keep in touch with my family from College and with my brother who is in the Air Force in Georgia. I also use the Internet to talk to my long-distance boyfriend so my phone bill doesn't get too large. I also use the Internet in a highly educational way. Not only can I take my college courses online (which is much better for me because I teach myself much better than a professor or teacher can teach me), but it can teach me about anything else I would like to know.
Following the assumptions by Van Parijs, we could also question whether women's higher life expectation could be due to biological reasons. In order to introduce this topic, we can use Paula Casal's Love not war. On the chemistry of good and evil. She develops during her article the main biological reasons for different life expectations by sex.
A major life event that started me to pursue an education in nursing was my time in basic training. The most life changing event during my induction into the army at ft. Jackson before starting basic training was accepting Christ as my personal lord and savior. When I decided to go into the Army 4 years out of high school I was a student firefighter E.M.T. working towards my paramedic, incidents at the Dept. I worked at both before and after some traumatic emergency responses actually turned me away from practicing any sort of medicine and causing me to seek the military for a new career or to pay for me to go back to school for another career if the military wasn’t my thing. During Basic training as stated above I was already a licensed E.M.T.
Adoration of God; solidarity with a definitive; turning into one with the universe; concordance of body, psyche, soul, and nature; these expressions point to the key objectives of the significant religious customs. The objectives mentioned speak to wellbeing in the most important sense (Meier, O 'Connor & VanKatwyk, 2005). They can be accomplished through a relationship between the broad sense of being of the individual and the group. Religious groups perceive human enduring, disorder, and social unfairness as issues identified with human detachment from an extreme reality and disharmony in the middle of self and world. Cures may include religiously based treatment practices, reflection, a request to God, physical controls like hatha yoga,
Emerging adulthood can be a difficult time for many. It might feel as if one is stuck in between 2 different stages in life. They aren’t children anymore, but they aren’t quite adults. During this time people are forced to make a lot of choices, it’s a time of planning for their fast approaching future and a time of self-exploration. This decision making however can lead to some risky behaviors such as substance abuse, risky sexual behavior, or other violent behavior such as fighting.
When elderly people move into the last of life’s eight stages of psychosocial development, they enter the ego-integrity-versus-despair stage. This process is defined by looking back over someone’s life, evaluating it, then accepting it. People who become successful in this stage feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. Erikson refers to this acceptance as integrity. This differs from generativity because one is accepting the end of their life, instead of accepting where their life will start in a sense of career and self. However, if one is to look back on their life with dissatisfaction, they may feel they have been cheated or missed opportunities. Such individuals will mostly be depressed or angry about the way life turned out and
Man is always striving to improve and achieve; new technology Is today's tomorrow. It can run, rule and, even ruin our lives.
Adulthood has often been associated with independence. It serves as a turning point in life where one has to take responsibility for oneself and no longer being dependent on his or her family. Early adulthood, usually begins from late teens or early twenties and will last until the thirties (Santrock, 2013). Early adulthood revolves around changes and exploration while middle and late adulthood are more of stability. The transition from adolescence and adulthood differs among every individual. The onset of the transition is determined by many factors such as culture, family background, and the personality of the individual. Emerging adulthood (as cited in Santrock, 2014) is the term to describe the transition period from adolescence to adulthood.
I have always been to asking myself what is meaning of life? or what I supposed to do ? or what I have to achieve? . Meaning of life what 's you have been given? what you have given by different kind of human? Or what I believe or what I do not believe in life .Everybody have Meaning of life it depends between person to person, I found myself when I was young because my parents always talk about experience in their life.Throughout my entire life ,I have wondered about the significance meaning of life that has beneficial for the people, because the life is beginning odds and ending odds .Even though struggle of life, I believe meaning of life are ,regional ,ambition, participate ,achievement ,and happiness .Due to this, I
Human life is full of meaning. As humans, we assign value to many things. However, what happens when we assign a specific value to a human life? This is the issue being presented in the article, “What is a Life Worth,” by Amanda Ripley. The government is determining a monetary value to a human life, and it does not appeal to the masses. There are many problems with the cold calculation, and most people cannot see the other side of the numbers. The economic value of a human life is calculated based on the income the person was receiving, but when the check is given to a loved one of a small amount, the compensation is misinterpreted as an overall value of the human life. The true value of a human life should not be combined with the monetary value that is determined by the government, or the value of life would be worth very little.
I look back on the 21 years that I’ve lived in Chicago, I honestly can’t remember many pleasant moments only the unfortunate . I don’t see this amazing city; filled with opportunity, all I see is a battleground where people are split among color and must fight to survive like a pack of wolves. In the eyes of others, I’m noted as a threat, so that makes me a target but I want is to be free. I feel like a trapped animal, helpless at the mercy of the Southside.
