Esther de berdt reed did many things to become part of the daughters of liberty. Esther became a daughter of liberty by being in other organizations. The organizations she was in were Ladies Association of Philadelphia, and she was part of the Sentiments of an American Woman. She became the main leaders of the Ladies Association of Philadelphia. Esther de berdt reed felt very strongly about the british and the acts. Esther fought for what she wanted to believe in and the same with the daughters of liberty. Esther de berdt reed was in a group called the daughters of liberty.The daughters of liberty were a group of patriotic women that were against many products that were made in England,and that were part of the Townshend acts and British parliament. There were 92 women in the group, they made clothing, home objects, and many other things so they didn’t have to buy them from the british.The women in the daughters of liberty were a big part in the patriot movement and without their cooperation in the start and throughout the movement would have failed.These women helped many people.The daughters

Esther De Berdt, at that time, met her future husband, Joseph Reed, in England while completing his studies.
