Delayed gratification is the ability to resist temptation for an immediate reward and wait for a later reward however, GRIT is sticking with something no matter how difficult the task is. For example, GRIT is going to class every day and not giving up because it is not going the way you want. In the following paragraphs I will be discussing what GRIT, delayed gratification is, and what I have learned from these two topics.
1- The videos we watched during class were shown at the end of the semester to so, as students we could be able to pull examples of what delayed gratification and GRIT is. Also, the videos could help us become better students; for example, with GRIT I learned that no matter how hard the semester can be I should stick to the class, do everything that I am supposed to on my part in the end hopefully what I have done will pay off.
2- Yes, delayed gratification is one of many factors to determine an individual’s future success. As humans, often we want something immediately or be rewarded right after however, when accomplishing goals and making a commitment that is not always the case.
