Over the years, Coca Cola has made a name for itself. What started out as a small thing, soon grew into a large and thriving company. There are bases for the Coca Cola company all over the world. Many people know and love Coca Cola. The big question is, what makes the Coca Cola company and its product so great? Over the years, the Coca Cola company has done a lot for the world in the means of economical and environmental aid. One of the most recent things Coca Cola has done is donate money to Mexico and the Caribbean for hurricane relief. The money that is being donated is tripling. Recently, the African Coca Cola foundation has donated $1, 800, 000 worth of medical supplies to six out of the thirteen African countries where it operates. Two containers went to Sierra Leone, two went to Liberia, one went to Cape Verde, two went to Guinea Conakry, one went to Ghana, and one went to Gambia (“Equatorial Coca Cola Bottling Company Delivers Medical Materials to Six African Countries” n.p). All of this has benefited the countries of Africa. This is a project that is part of the ShareHope program that the African Coca Cola foundation and Medshare operate (“Equatorial Coca Cola…” n.p).
