Black Box Testing- This is a software testing technique. An external tester who is not common with the program he is testing would test this. For Black Box testing the tester would only basically know the inputs and what the expected outcome of the events would be.
As this is from an external tester he would never actually look at the programs code but that is never an issue as he only had to know the basics.
White Box Testing- This is another form of software testing only this time the external tester will have a lot of knowledge of the internal project which he is testing. And unlike Black Box Testing this form of testing uses the of the programming code to decide its outputs. The tests will always be accurate if the tester knows what to do. A problem with White Box testing is that the tester can not see if the program sways away from the intended goal at hand.
Test Plans- A test plan is a very important aspect especially before creating a video game. It is important to use a test plan so the plan at hand doesn’t sway away from the design requirements. Commonly a test plan will be prepared by the inputs of different test engineers.
Depending on what the test you are planning and the level of responsibility of the organization it may use a strategy for one of the following.
A Design Verification test- This is a test which will be performed during the actual development of the product.
Manufacturing Test- This test will be performed during the main preparation stages of the product and the test will record the performance and quality control of the product.
Repair Test- This Test will be used over the whole life span of the development and will repair any errors among the way of completion.

Test Log- For the testing phase of the process this will be a log of everything which is done in the test scenarios. This will be a log of all the expected out-comes of the tests and the actual out-comes of the tests. An example of this would be whenever you or your opponent in a game of tic tac toe would get 3 in a row the game would be expected to end.
Interface Testing- This form of testing would be done to make sure that the systems pass data and work fluently together.
This form of testing is a way to find bugs very easily. Errors may be found by data being inconsistent between the systems. This could be done a miscommunication of the information.
An example of this would be when a certain action in a game for example a gun is shot in the game the game would output a unique noise for that.
