Recommended: Environment determining human behaviour

There are many things that can affect a person’s behavior. This is what makes the world unique in itself because not all people who live in the world are the same and do not have the same values as others. Some people may get irritated or annoyed by having visitors come over every day and for other people this is a blessing and at their home everyone is welcomed. The thing that makes human behavior interesting is the fact that most of the world wants to learn more about why people act the way they do. (Clayton & Myers, 2009)
A child who was raised in the city life and used to big buildings and rush hour traffic may not get nervous when it comes to taking their driving test and actually driving in rush hour traffic with 6 lane highways and tall skyscrapers. In fact a person that is raised around bigger buildings and lights on all the time as well as noise if typically a person that would be considered abnormal or have the affect of abnormal behavior when compared to a small town country boy or girl.
So many things in buildings can make a person act or feel important. An example of this would be someone who is not used to having nice things and when they go out on vacation it’s something as simple as a nice hotel suite to take away the stress that life can sometimes give to a person. But on the other hand a person that already lives in a nice big house with new things may not appreciate the capacity of a nice hotel suite because they already get that on a daily basis. (Clayton & Myers, 2009)
When a person goes shopping and may take a trip to the mall they may feel like they are having a good time on the inside because there are typically nice big ceilings and nice clean stores with new things all over and not to mention the massage...

...ressions make a huge difference in the business decisions it’s important for businesses to think about how their property looks. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small park or a big movie theatre it’s all about making the customer or business look good. When a person enters a place of entertainment they want to be welcomed and want to have memories of a good time and things to talk about to their friends which is why the importance of designs in everything needs to be well thought as it sets the moods for all occasions.

    When I think of abnormal behavior, the first thing that comes to mind is one of my aunt’s. She committed suicide when I very young, so early 1970’s. As I got older, inevitably stories of her would arise during holiday get togethers. She was married with three children and in her early thirties, residing in Florida, when she walked out and away from her husband and small children. For over a year, no one knew what happened to her, she made no effort to contact anyone. Eventually, the Salvation Army somewhere in Michigan called my grandmother and they sent her home on a bus. She never returned to her husband or children. The doctors diagnosed her as a paranoid schizophrenic. My mother told me that when she was on her medication she was fine, but once she felt “fine”, she would stop her medication. When the medication left her system, she became anxious and afraid. She once chased my grandmother, who was in her late sixties down the driveway with an ax, because she thought her mother was trying to kill her. After several inpatient stays in mental hospitals, she came back home again and she was doing good. She left my grandmother’s one night while everyone was sleeping, made it approximately fifteen miles away to a lake.
