Eminem has been all over the place throughout his rap career. He is considered to be a lyrical genius. In his earlier stages, he tended to rap about very negative things. One of the many topics that were incorporated into his songs, was murder. However, he also rapped about some very positive things. Thus, in essence, making him a very controversial rapper. Roughly three weeks ago, Eminem released a new song that contained no music. Just solely lyrics. The song was about his hatred and opposition of Trump. Many people have different stances on this song. Some believe that Eminem is reverting back to his old self, while believing that this song has a strong negative influence. I approve of Eminem’s decision to release a rap video regarding Trump’s policies. I’ve never cared much about politics, but I can’t help but oppose Trump. Especially, after becoming aware of the things that Trump’s policies. Eminem had the boldly took a stand against Trump. Using his publicity and fame, he filmed a video that addressed all the issues with Trump’s presidency. By doing so, he essentially promotes awareness of world-wide issues toward his fan-base and the general population. Thus, giving non-Trump supporters a voice. In the video, Eminem says, “...you’re a spoiled little brat for, tryna use your platform or your stature, to try to give those a voice who don’t have one” (YouTube, “Eminem…”). However, this does not hinder Eminem from doing so anyway. In addition, Eminem begins listing the entirety of Trump’s incompetent abilities. For example, he begins with, “That’s an awfully hot coffee pot, should I drop it on Donald Trump? Probably not” (YouTube, “Eminem…”). By beginning the video with this line, the
