Who is the true Shakespeare? Have you ever given it a thought that the poem’s author you were reading wasn’t the true author? I believe that the author of Shakespeare’s work was truly Edward de Vere. Did you know that Shakespeare stole many lines from Edward de Vere’s bible? Edward de Vere’s works were published but instead of his name being put as the author, you guessed it, Shakespeare was that author. Of course, Shakespeare in known for his great, beautiful poems, so shouldn’t that mean that his name should be in the book of the greatest poets? Many may not believe in the idea that the famous Shakespeare was a false but the true author was Edward de Vere.

You might not know this but Shakespeare was once a front man for Edward de vere. When Edward de Vere died, they published the work, Edward de Vere’s work, but not in his name, they published it under the name William Shakespeare. “Shakespeare agreed to serve as front man for Oxford because the writing of plays was below the dignity of a great man. Then when Oxford died, they published the his works in the name of, by, Shakespeare” (Stritmatter). Shakespeare, as he said, was writing below a great man, but when Edward de Vere died they published the work for Shakespeare when he wasn’t the real owner, he only help with the creation of the poem. The real ownership of the poem was Edward de Vere. As I mentioned before, he had many of Edward de Vere’s sayings/poems in his works and made them his own.
