Canada known for its natural landscape, welcoming and homely environment and tons of immigrants pouring in every year has the best education system in the world. Canada does not have any centralised department of education. Schools and colleges are governed by local governing bodies and territories. However, Canadian schools have a uniting belief in the education system which makes the education system of this place the best in the world. According to IIE (Institute of International Education) reports, Canada has been ranked number seven in the category of most popular study destinations in the world for international students. The universities here are known for their high standards and international repute. Pursuing a Masters in Canada is not very expensive in terms of college tuition fees which have resulted in a massive increase in the number of international students opting to study in Canada.
The Canadian education system is not merely restricted to classroom lectures only. Various guest lectures are arranged for the students, emphasis is laid on group study, site visits are carried out. At the end of the course, the students are asked to prepare a thesis. The students may take help from their professor around the topic and format of thesis.
International Students are accepted in August/September of each year for a master Degree’s program. Some of the common tests undertaken by international students to get into one of the colleges/universities are: IELTS (International English Language Testing System), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
