Don’t you ever ask yourself: Why do you need to go to school since you are little? And why do you need to go to work after you are done with your school? Actually, the answer is simple. Education and career are always correlated to each other. They involve all efforts and consume our time. People work to support their living; you need to have higher education if you want to have a better living especially nowadays. In fact, there are only few people that being successful without finishing their school, those people are either genius or pursuing art professionals. Watkin got accepted to Stanford University, but her parents were not happy about it. The reason is that because Watkin needed to move away from her parents and travel by herself, since their home was not around Stanford University. Somehow this makes Watkin’s parents to face hard decision when looking their daughter being independent. In fact, many parents often worry about their children when they cannot physically see each other every day. However, this does not make her parents not supported Watkin’s education at all. In fact, Watkin’s parents always encourage Watkin emotionally. For instance, since little kid, Watkin needed to finish the requirement tasks as many as possible otherwise her parents would destroy all the books. My cousin moved to Singapore since he was little. The only way different was his parent let my cousin stayed apart was to make him stronger. His parents believe that children would less likely to achieve higher education and career goals when they keep attaching to their parents. For instance, when you stay with your parents all the time, all the chores more likely would be done by your parents. This kind of situation actually makes you lazy. As most people know, achieving higher education and career goals require not only intelligent but also depending on the effort you put on it.
