Death of a Salesman (Analysis of the three messages from Death of a Salesman) The film is about a dysfunctional family and how they live their daily lives. Also, it shows that type of family sometimes treat each other. If families acted the way they did, there would be much more bad kids in this world and we would not have a lot of things that we do now. If a family is dishonest to each other instead of speaking the truth and figuring out a way to solve that issue, then each and every family would have a better sense of each other and show good examples to other families to see if they should act the same way. There are three messages that can be seen in Death of a Salesman. In Death of a Salesman, being a dysfunctional family isn’t always a good thing. For example, every person in that family has a love hate relationship. Meaning that they love each other at one point and then hate each other the next. Many people believe that having a dysfunctional family is a bad thing while others think it is a bad thing. For example, if you live in one, then possibly you think you are not getting the love you need because the parents favorite another sibling and give them everything and leave you out. For example, the Lowmen family are always dishonest to each other and never tell the truth. It creates a relationship between the parents and their kids that is not a good one. If they would have started to tell the truth about each other, then they would have been a much better family and felt better about each other instead of thinking each other like they are nothing. Families today are so dishonest with each other that there are hardly any families who tell the truth.
